Role Description
As a Hardware Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing their wearable technology, working from initial concept to product launch. Your responsibilities will include:
- Hardware Development: Oversee hardware design from system and board-level to launch, managing concept development, specifications, architecture design, and feature validation.
- Evaluation & Testing: Conduct schematic reviews, system assessments, and performance analysis. Develop testing tools, perform system-level tests, troubleshoot products, and execute both unit and integration testing.
- Vendor Collaboration: Lead the development of component and module vendors, creating evaluation plans and ensuring scalable production solutions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with engineering teams to design, document, and implement health sensing features and system architecture.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience with wearable technology and health-related sensors.
- Knowledge of low-power design techniques for battery-operated devices.
- Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC).
- Understanding of biomedical engineering principles and biometric data collection.
- Experience with miniaturization and ergonomic design for wearable devices.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of system and firmware development.
- Experience in optical module development and quality management.
- Familiarity with working with overseas manufacturers and vendors.
