Seeking Marketing Coordinators to Help Shape the Future of E-Commerce
Who They Are:
Metric has hit the mark with its AI-driven marketing platform for e-commerce players. Following an exceptional launch across Europe, the Nordic scaleup has now entered the US market, and is therefore seeking local talent to strengthen the marketing team.
Metric delivers an AI-powered, all-in-one marketing suite for e-commerce businesses that simplifies and streamlines all digital marketing needs in ways that were previously impossible. The SaaS platform is integrated with Shopify, the world’s largest e-commerce ecosystem, making it incredibly easy to adopt. The result is that e-commerce businesses can now accomplish tasks that used to require specialized agencies, independently, within minutes. Naturally, this has a significant impact on the Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). A byproduct is a detailed, real-time overview of marketing and sales activities—something customers highly value. This stands in stark contrast to the Excel-sheet handovers stores are accustomed to from traditional marketing agencies.
Metric was established in 2022 by the founders of Marketer Technologies, now one of Europe’s largest proptech companies. After two years of technical development, the commercial operations kicked off in full force in 2024. The company is now experiencing explosive growth and already boasts a solid ARR that is increasing by several hundred thousand per month.
The cap table includes Marketer Technologies, alongside the greatest chess player of all time, Magnus Carlsen, Johan Brand from Kahoot, and a handful of other prominent figures in tech and finance.
Why This Role Matters:
Metric is scaling at an incredible pace, and maintaining an exceptional customer experience while growing rapidly is no small task. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in achieving this objective. You will be directly involved in overseeing clients' omnichannel marketing campaigns and supporting their efforts to secure the best possible Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). Your responsibilities will range from making minor adjustments to targeting strategies to creating comprehensive campaigns from start to finish.
The role is in-office, available at Metric's US HQ in Los Angeles, or at their newly opened New York location.
You Will:
- Oversee omnichannel campaign activities for eCommerce clients across various industries.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues in collaboration with the Customer Success Team.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) and optimize campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, and Snapchat.
- Design and execute custom omnichannel campaigns on behalf of clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team on lead generation efforts.
- Maintain regular, productive communication with the clients to align strategies and exceed performance goals.
Who We’re Looking For:
Two skilled and ambitious marketers who are passionate about their craft and driven to make an impact. You should have:
- Proven expertise in ad design, with a strong ability to create visually compelling and impactful stories.
- At least 2 years of experience in creating and managing campaigns on platforms such as Meta and Google, with measurable results to show.
- Strong organizational skills and an analytical mindset, ensuring effective campaign performance and insights. Experience with Google Analytics, Merchant Center, or Performance Max is required.
- Familiarity with or experience in eCommerce (an advantage but not essential).
- Above all, a drive, adaptability, and relentless hunger to achieve exceptional results.
What We Offer:
- A rare opportunity to take a central role in a company poised for international dominance.
- Direct impact on the client's growth trajectory, with a transparent product that shows immediate value.
- Diverse career growth opportunities that allow you to shape your professional journey.
- A competitive compensation package with salary and stock options, reflecting the value we place on top talent.
- Highly visible contributions, providing you with the opportunity to build a standout career in e-commerce and digital marketing.
- A collaborative and dynamic environment, where professional development is encouraged, your ideas matter, are listened to, and can be implemented swiftly.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including competitive health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs designed to support long-term employee well-being.
Be Part of Something Bigger:
More than just a job—we’re offering a chance to take ownership, contribute to a high-growth journey, and be part of a dynamic, supportive team that is passionate about redefining e-commerce marketing. Our success in Europe is just the beginning, and we want you to help lead the charge in the US.
Next Steps:
Selected candidates will begin the process with an interview with recruitment partner, Jon Amdahl Martinsen, followed by meetings with the management team, including the CEO. We aim to fill this role by the end of November. Your first day of work will likely be in Q1 of 2025. Earlier if possible.
